Lions Gate Virtual Views, October 3, 2022

Welcome to Lions Gate Virtual Views. We are glad that you can escape with us on these weekly virtual journeys!

Please email Melanie with any feedback or suggestions for future program content. Enjoy!

Maintaining our balance can get more challenging as we age but it becomes even more important as having good balance can decrease our chance of falling (always a good idea). Here is a good video to help increase or maintain our balance.

Here is a great (short) video about Canadian Thanksgiving.

After that, we can test our knowledge about the Thanksgiving of our neighbours to the south with this trivia quiz. Good luck.

Now here is a summary of how Canadian Thanksgiving is different from American Thanksgiving.

And here is a wonderful video celebrating the little things to be grateful for.

Are you getting a little tired of the same old recipes for your Thanksgiving dinner? Want to try something new, even if not for Thanksgiving? I am definitely going to try a few of these this fall, and I hope that you do as well. Enjoy!

It is time for a virtual walk, and today I chose this 4km walk to Shannon Falls in Squamish. Stand up and stroll along with the video, if you want.

Music is always a lovely way to end the day and I hope that you enjoy this Vintage Autumn Music.

I hope you had a great day and that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving next weekend.

Please send us your feedback. It will help us build a better program for YOU.

Stay safe and I hope you check back in next week - Monday, Oct. 10.
