Lions Gate Virtual Views, October 10, 2022

Welcome to Lions Gate Virtual Views. We are glad that you can escape with us on these weekly virtual journeys!

Please email Melanie with any feedback or suggestions for future program content. Enjoy!

You might have had a bit too much Thanksgiving dinner this weekend so let’s start the day with one of my favourite chair exercise teachers, Paul Eugene. Don’t overdo it!

It is now time for us to get our brain cells moving. Here is a great trivia quiz celebrating the good old days.

You may want to consider making these healthy baked oatmeal apple cups. This is a great snack that you can take with you when you go out. (Note: You can make your own applesauce.)

Given it is apple season, I thought it would also be fun to share this 1894 German apple pie recipe with you.

Let’s get some virtual time outside. Here are some of the world’s greatest fall scenes:

I hope you enjoyed the fall music we played last week. I thought that a few more tunes would be nice:

Let’s end the day by going back to 1939 (you may not have even been born yet) with Shirley Temple in My Little Princess.

I hope you had a great day.

Please send us your feedback. It will help us build a better program for YOU.

Stay safe and I hope you check back in next week - Monday, Oct. 17.
