This Saturday, July 1, is Canada Day and I for one am grateful every day that I live in Canada. Here is a quick lesson on how Canadians explain Canada Day to our American neighbours.
Also, if you are looking to get out and enjoy this year’s Canada Day Celebrations in North Vancouver, you might want to check this link.
Let’s get this Canada Day tribute going with this upbeat walking workout to music from some amazing Canadian artists. Don’t worry if you can’t keep up with all the movements, you can just stand up, walk in place, sing along to the music, smile and most of all have fun.
Now how much do you know about this great country of ours? Check your knowledge and/or learn something new with this Canada Day Trivia Quiz.
I’m going to share with you these videos of Canada Day party foods. You don’t even need to use them for Canada Day since I think that some of them would be great for any potluck or party. (Note: After the first video plays, just let the next video start on its own.)
Here’s an interesting survey that ranked the Canadian provinces. I don’t really agree with the ranking, but I was enthralled enough to watch to the end and like the commentary about the pros and cons of each province, and the scenery of each province was lovely. (Note: I also had a chuckle by the first part of the BC segment of the video showing Vancouver traffic in a snowstorm which can happen but isn’t an everyday occurrence.)
You may like to get a cup of tea, close your eyes and listen to these iconic Canadian songs. (Note: When one song ends, just wait and the next song will load and play). Some of these songs really brought back memories.
Let’s end our day today with this beautiful fireworks display from the amazing Niagara Falls in Ontario. I hope that you are grateful as I am to live in this amazing country of ours.
I hope you had a great day today.
Please send us your feedback. It will help us build a better program for YOU.
Stay safe and I hope you check back in next week - Monday, July 3.
