Lions Gate Virtual Views, June 12, 2023

Welcome to Lions Gate Virtual Views. We are glad that you can escape with us on these weekly virtual journeys!

Please email the Seniors' Hub with any feedback or suggestions for future program content. Enjoy!

Sunday, June 18 is Father’s Day so I thought we might want to prepare ahead of time. With that in mind, Father’s Day is the focus for today.

I also will take this opportunity to give my father a shout-out as being the best father a daughter could have.

Whether your father was a positive (or not) role model in your life I believe he had an impact on your life and I truly hope that you learned good lessons from him.

Before we really get into our Father’s Day theme, let’s get our bodies going with this great 25-minute, reduced-tempo seated exercise routine. This routine will work all parts of your body and even get your heart going with some cardio.

Here is a way to both learn something and test your knowledge of facts about Father’s Day.

As you know, I believe that laughter is the best medicine. Here are some hilarious dad moments. Some of them really made me laugh.

Being a father is an important role and this Ted Talk makes me hopeful for future generations. I hope that fathers will be present in all parts of family life.

Music is an important part of our lives, and these father Songs may appeal to you in some way.

A great day ends with a great comedy. Here is Father of the Bride, starring Steve Martin and Diane Keaton.

I hope you had a great day today.

Please send us your feedback. It will help us build a better program for YOU.

Stay safe and I hope you check back in next week - Monday, June 19.
