Welcome to Lions Gate Virtual Views. We are glad that you can escape with us on these weekly virtual journeys!
Please email Melanie with any feedback or suggestions for future program content. Enjoy!
Let’s get the day started with the music from the 1980s. Remember to only do what feels comfortable to you. Also, since the weather is heating up, make sure you drink lots of water before and after a workout AND throughout the day.
Now it is time to get your brain cells moving with this somewhat tricky video where you need to guess what the country is when you only have the first and last letters as clues. Good luck.
Even though food prices continue to rise, it is still important to eat healthy meals. Here are some ideas about creating healthy and inexpensive lunches.
Let’s have some time outdoors with this lovely hike to Norvan Falls. This is a spectacular waterfall hike located in Lynn Headwaters Regional Park, in North Vancouver. The trail to Norvan Falls runs parallel to Lynn Creek and is relatively flat. I hope that you get a chance to walk this hike and if not you can enjoy this virtual walk.
Laughter is an important part of our health and this tv series made many people laugh. Here is the pilot episode of Bewitched.
Here is a lovely way to spend some time this afternoon, with some music that you can sing along to. Don’t worry about your neighbours if you sing your heart out.
Let’s end our day today with the South African Symphony of Fire Fireworks demonstration from 2018. If you want to check out dates for this year’s fireworks shows here is the link to dates and countries displaying their shows.
I hope that you had a good day.
Stay safe and I hope you check back in next week - Monday, Aug. 1.
