Lions Gate Virtual Views, February 20, 2023

Welcome to Lions Gate Virtual Views. We are glad that you can escape with us on these weekly virtual journeys!

Please email Melanie with any feedback or suggestions for future program content. Enjoy!

Happy Family Day. Before we get started on our theme for the day – families – let’s get our blood moving with this exercise video to the wonderful music of Motown.

Let’s get our brains going with this quiz. Some of the questions are easy and some not so much, but don’t worry either about the competition factor or if you know the answers. The real purpose is to get your brain moving. Enjoy!

While the next video isn’t strictly Family Day, all of the places in it are places that I have taken (or would take) my family to. Let’s get some time outside with the best places in Vancouver to visit.

I know that everyone’s idea of humour and comedy is different but I thought many parts of this Canadian stand-up comedian's routine were hilarious. The title did say it was ‘family friendly’ although not sure what age group this meant, but I do know that we’re all old enough to appreciate the content.

If that isn’t the kind of comedy that you enjoy, then you might prefer this Canadian stand-up comedian who I also find hilarious.

This history of Family Ties, the sitcom starring BC-born Michael J. Fox is a great way to end the day.

I hope you had a great day.

Please send us your feedback. It will help us build a better program for YOU.

Stay safe and I hope you check back in next week - Monday, Feb. 27.
