Let’s get the day started with this fun exercise routine to the music of the 1980s. This will get you 3000 steps today. Note: Remember to only do what feels good and drink lots of water after the workout (and throughout the rest of your day).
It is time to get our brains moving. Let's try this trivia quiz for foodies that will also get your hungry for lunch. Good luck.
Now that your body and brain are warmed up you should feed your body. I know that some of you may have lots of time to consider what you eat but you also (like me) might be getting bored with the same old things. I found this great video that will give you a few new ideas that are not only healthy and delicious but also fast to make which is a bonus. Enjoy.
My son (18) is a great basketball player and is playing for BC at the Canada Summer Games in Niagara Falls, Ontario right now. (Go BC!). This got me thinking about the history of the Canada Games and I thought some of you might be interested this link.
If you like watching sport and you want to catch some live action of some future Olympians (or just great Canadian young athletes), here is a link to CBC live streaming of the games.
Let’s enjoy some time outside with this lovely video of the amazing flowers we have in Vancouver. You might want to get a cup of tea to enjoy while smelling the flowers and enjoying the music.
Have you ever been on the Rocky Mountaineer train trip from Vancouver to Banff?
How about a movie for your evening entertainment? Here is Mark Harmon, Catherine Hicks and Mary McDonnell in For All Time.
I hope that you had a good day.
Stay safe and I hope you check back in next week - Monday, Aug. 15.
