A place where families and children can connect, learn, and grow together.
Our Family and Children’s programming is by donation. We support services for families of children aged newborn to 5 years old. We offer opportunities for families to play, learn and connect, in a welcoming, inclusive environment. Our community-responsive programming seeks to improve health and well-being, enhance parenting skills and knowledge, strengthen social connections, build resiliency, and improve food security so that families can thrive.
Programs and Services
Join us! Below is a list of our services, drop-in and registered programs, try-it programs, workshops, and events.
Early Years Program
We welcome children ages newborn to 5 years. Our programming is intended for the child/ren and their parent/guardian to be in attendance and learning together. We do not provide childcare or daycare programs.
Our programs support all areas of early childhood development with a focus on social-emotional learning. Our program is play-based and strength-based and offers structured and unstructured play that includes activities such as songs, storytime, music, arts and crafts, imaginary play, and gross motor skills practice.
Philosophy
Our programs provide opportunities for children and adults to come together in relationship with each other to learn and connect in a welcoming, inclusive and culturally safe environment. Our community-responsive programming seeks to support healthy childhood development, increase parenting skills and knowledge, and strengthen social connections so that families can thrive. Our indoor spaces are designed to support children with diverse abilities and needs.
