Donors keep North Shore residents inspired and engaged
Capilano Community Service Society exists because of support and donations from community organizations as well as members of the public.
The kindness and generosity of this community allow us to offer programs and services to some of the area's most vulnerable, its at-risk youth and frail seniors. The donors supporting our engagement activities are helping build community connections that lead to positive outcomes across the North Shore.
There are many ways you can support the Capilano Community Service Society - the most immediate opportunities are:
An online donation through CanadaHelps - an immediate contribution or scheduled monthly giving.
Direct donations by cash or cheque to our office address.
Donations of stock.
Designating Capilano Community Services Society as the beneficiary of a bequest.
Our volunteers organize a number of fundraising events throughout the year, including bake sales and spring and Christmas raffles. If possible, please support these, because all money raised goes back into the community.
The Capilano Community Service Society receives funding from the District of North Vancouver, the City of North Vancouver, the District of West Vancouver and Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, as well as monies from provincial gaming funds. These sources of revenue cover the basic costs of the community programs and services, but more funds are needed to help support and enhance existing programs.
Capilano Community Services Society is a registered charity (BN/Registration #106871411 RR0001) and can provide tax receipts for all financial charitable donations.
Donations of services, time and equipment are also welcome.
