Lions Gate Virtual Views - October 13, 2021
Welcome to Lions Gate Virtual Views. We are glad that you can escape with us on these weekly virtual journeys!
Please email Melanie with any feedback or suggestions for future program content. Enjoy!
I hope that you had a great Thanksgiving and were able to get together with a few family or friends and reflect on the things that we are thankful for. If you weren’t able to, know that I am thankful for all the wisdom (and wonderful stories) that seniors share with me.
If you were able to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner then, like most, you may have eaten a bit more than usual. This is a great exercise video that I hope you enjoy and will make you feel redeemed for any overindulgence. (Please remember to only do what feels good for you.)
Guess what? Time to get those brain cells moving. Here’s a guess-the-animal trivia quiz. Good luck. Remember you can pause the video if you want more time to try to solve the puzzle.
If you have ever had Thanksgiving leftovers you have regular things you do with your leftovers. This video will give you a few other ideas:
Autumn is my favourite season and the very best time to be out in nature. Here is a video of the top 10 places in Canada to see autumn foliage.
And if you want to see the best of BC, this is the video for you:
This is a great video that made me pause and reflect on the power of nature. I can see why someone might have this as their happy place.
I came across this great video that gives a brief clip of the most popular song from each month during the 1960s. I hope that these bring back some great memories.
I hope you enjoyed your day.
Please send us your feedback. It will help us build a better program for YOU.
Stay safe and I hope you check back in next week - Wednesday, Oct. 20.
