Lions Gate Virtual Views - November 25, 2020

Welcome to Lions Gate Virtual Views. We hope that you can escape with us on these weekly virtual journeys!

Please email Melanie with any feedback or suggestions for future program content. Enjoy!

Let’s start the day by getting some exercise for your brain and body, using balance. It's a two-in-one - physical exercise to keep the brain healthy.

If you want some more exercises here is the same presenter talking about arthritis pain-relief exercises:

I hope that you enjoyed some exercise this morning. I have one more link that you may want to try to exercise your brain. Here’s a fillable online Sudoku website. If you have never played Sudoku, now is a good time to start. You need to have 1 - 9 in each row, 1 - 9 in each column and 1-9 in each cube (without overlap). If you need more help, here are the instructions:

Here is a great video about the importance of sleep:

I also love this monk’s guide to sleeping better:

Ok, That was some serious thinking about our sleep routine. Let’s lighten things up with sleepy  Mr. Bean:

If you don’t really care for Mr. Bean, then you really might like this puppy getting its exercise WHILE sleeping. Great trick, and no wonder dogs need so much sleep!

I think we’ve had enough exercise and sleep, let’s end the day with some culture and music. Here is the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s Sergei Prokofiev: Peter and the Wolf.

Enjoy the rest of your day, and please take care of yourself and each other.

Please send us your feedback. It will help us build a better program for YOU

See you next Wednesday, Dec. 2.
