Lions Gate Virtual Views - November 17, 2021

Welcome to Lions Gate Virtual Views. We are glad that you can escape with us on these weekly virtual journeys!

Please email Melanie with any feedback or suggestions for future program content. Enjoy!

Here is a great way to start the day – this leg strengthening exercise routine to decrease knee pain:

Let’s get those brain cells firing. Have you tried the New York Times crossword? Would you like to try the Monday crossword? Here is a link to one and the best part is that if you need a hint you can click to get a clue.

Sometimes the fall can be challenging for people with arthritis or other inflammatory conditions. Here’s a great video with some amazing drinks that include anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. I hope that you try (and enjoy) some of these.

Let’s go for a virtual walk outside. While we can walk outside, the weather is starting to be a bit more icky. Stand up and keep walking for the full length of this video. You don’t have to walk quickly, just keep stepping in time.

If you like a laugh and a challenge, here’s What’s My Line with Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward.

If you liked that last one then you will love this, with Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz:

Here’s some lovely vintage fall music that I thoroughly enjoyed and I hope you do as well.

If you liked that, you will enjoy this way to end the day.

I hope you enjoyed your day.

Please send us your feedback. It will help us build a better program for YOU.

Stay safe and I hope you check back in next week - Wednesday, Nov. 24.
