Lions Gate Virtual Views - March 3, 2021

Welcome to Lions Gate Virtual Views. We are glad that you can escape with us on these weekly virtual journeys!

Please email Melanie with any feedback or suggestions for future program content. Enjoy!

Let’s start the day with a laugh. Watch Groucho Marx being disturbed by a crazy-eyed guest:

It’s time to get the body moving. Here’s an exercise class to Motown music. As always, remember to stop if you are not able to keep up.

Do you like games like Sudoku or solitaire? Here is a great website where you can play four different games to help your brain stay engaged and entertained.

I hope you have a great lunch. Here are three heart-healthy recipes you may want to try in the future:

Time for some education. Here’s an amazing documentary about the impact on an ecosystem when, in 1995, wolves were reintroduced to Yellowstone Park. I find this super interesting and I hope you do as well.

I was so enthralled that I kept looking at Yellowstone and found this amazing National Geographic documentary. Enjoy. (P.S. Anyone still have National Geographic magazines at home? I do. If you are ever decluttering and want to get rid of them consider donating them to Capilano Community Services Society for the dementia program!)

I hope that you had a great day. One of my favourite shows is America’s Got Talent and here is a beautiful dance number from 2018:

Have a lovely evening.

Please send us your feedback. It will help us build a better program for YOU.

See you next week - Wednesday, March 10.
