Lions Gate Virtual Views - March 24, 2021
Welcome to Lions Gate Virtual Views. We are glad that you can escape with us on these weekly virtual journeys!
Please email Melanie with any feedback or suggestions for future program content. Enjoy!
Let’s start the morning with some exercise. Get moving with this fabulous 15-minute exercise video from Go4Life sponsored by the National Institute on Aging:
Here is a great website that you may want to check out to find the best online games for seniors for mental stimulation and to reduce feelings of loneliness.
Here’s a great video about a spring garden coming to life:
Here is a good video that I hope gives you a chuckle about car names. Enjoy!
Are you an artist or would you like to try painting? You might like to watch this video then get whatever supplies you need and then paint along with Bob Ross, creating A Hint of Spring.
I was looking for an interesting outdoor video and came across this lovely feature about Dame Judi Dench and her passion for trees. I learned something from this video and I hope you do as well.
Somehow the Judi Dench video got me to England, and I found this wonderful documentary about Jane Austen and I thought it would be a nice way to spend an evening.
If you enjoyed this video and haven’t watched Pride and Prejudice or Sense and Sensibility, I know that you can borrow them from the North Vancouver District Library.
I hope that you have enjoyed these videos and activities. Have a lovely evening.
See you next week - Wednesday, March 31.
