Lions Gate Virtual Views - July 14, 2021
Welcome to Lions Gate Virtual Views. We are glad that you can escape with us on these weekly virtual journeys!
Please email Melanie with any feedback or suggestions for future program content. Enjoy!
Let’s start the day with this great stretching video. Remember not to overdo it. Don’t do anything that hurts.
I came across this video of morning habits geniuses use to jump-start their brain. I know we could all use these habits to help us. Good luck but remember not to have too many expectations of future genius (ha ha).
If you don’t like thinking about what to cook for dinner each day, here’s is a video of easy meal ideas. I hope that this helps you plan and prepare healthy meals.
I love gardening and my parents have a very large garden that produces a huge summer and fall harvest of many, many fruits and vegetables. Most of us only have a small space so here is an informative video on how to grow vegetables in an apartment garden.
As you may have figured out, I believe that humor is important to making a great day. This video is a classic, the Abbott and Costello routine Who’s on First from 1953. Even though this is pretty silly, it still made me laugh in the end.
Here is a wonderful introduction to the world of organ music.
Now let’s end the day with this amazing Freemason’s Hall Organ Concert with Christopher Stokes from December 2020. I was fascinated by skill with both the hands and feet to create the lovely sounds. If you close your eyes you may enjoy this even more.
I hope you had a great day and that you have a lovely evening and week.
Please send us your feedback. It will help us build a better program for YOU.
Stay safe and I hope you check back in next Wednesday, July 21.
