Lions Gate Virtual Views - January 19, 2022

Welcome to Lions Gate Virtual Views. We are glad that you can escape with us on these weekly virtual journeys!

Please email Melanie with any feedback or suggestions for future program content. Enjoy!

Let’s start the morning with this power march exercise routine with Paul Eugene. (Remember to only do what is comfortable, take a break when you need one and don’t overdo it.)

I like crossword puzzles – they are a great way to keep your brain moving. Here is a website where you can do fillable puzzles. The best thing is that errors show up in red and if you need a hint you can get one.

I’m sure that you have your regular meal preferences but I get bored with my regular meals and this is a good video to give you some new ‘healthy’ ideas.

Did you ever make (or receive) a beautifully decorated cake? I used to make my children special cakes for their birthdays but never anything as meticulous as these.

Let’s change things up with an episode from Faulty Towers, with John Cleese and Connie Booth:

Do you like figure skating? I was enthralled by these lovely skaters. If you liked that then you will love this one to Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus Overture at the 2019 World Synchronized Skating Championship.

That last video gave me an idea for a lovely way to end the day. Here is the Mozart Gala Concert, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the great composer's birth. I hope that you sit back, relax and enjoy.

I hope that you had a good day.

Please send us your feedback. It will help us build a better program for YOU.

Stay safe and I hope you check back in next week - Wednesday, Jan. 26.
