Lions Gate Virtual Views - January 27, 2021
Welcome to Lions Gate Virtual Views. We are glad that you can escape with us on these weekly virtual journeys!
Please email Melanie with any feedback or suggestions for future program content. Enjoy!
I think starting our day with some exercise is always a good idea. Here is a 20-minute exercise class for seniors. Remember to only do what feels good. Don’t push yourself too hard - we don’t want any injuries!
Not sure if you like crossword puzzles or not, but give this easy online fillable crossword puzzle a go. If you liked doing this you can save the website and come back another time to do another one.
If you don’t know what to have for lunch you might have the ingredients for one of these five-minute healthy lunch recipes. Enjoy!
Let’s head outside (virtually) and up into our beautiful local Mount Seymour and go snowshoeing to Dog Mountain. Not sure if you have ever been but it is absolutely beautiful.
We enjoyed Mount Seymour so let’s head to Grouse Mountain for some more winter fun. I’m sure that you have your own experience or adventure up at Grouse either in the winter or summer. I hope that you can enjoy the mountain again soon.
In case you are thinking that we may be hard done by with the little snow that we get, watch this about the tallest snowfalls ever recorded, and be grateful we live in Vancouver, B.C:
After that cold and snow, snuggle up and enjoy this amazing documentary/concert about the making of the Three Tenors. Have a great night, stay healthy and safe.
I hope that you enjoyed your day and that you enjoy your evening. Please take care of yourself and each other.
See you next week - Wednesday, Feb. 3.
