Lions Gate Virtual Views - December 1, 2021

Welcome to Lions Gate Virtual Views. We are glad that you can escape with us on these weekly virtual journeys!

Please email Melanie with any feedback or suggestions for future program content. Enjoy!

Let’s start the day with this seated chair-exercise program:

Riddles are a great way to increase our attention and keep our brain cells firing. Have fun with this video. (Remember you can always hit pause if you want more time).

If you are looking for a few new healthy and hearty soup recipes, this is a good video for you:

Everyone is telling us to do our Christmas shopping early this year. Even if you are not going out as much to the shops (or are scaling back your Christmas buying a bit this year), you might like this as it is outside. Even if you can’t go, have fun watching the Vancouver Christmas Market, which is open now.

Let’s get some laughs. This is my all-time favourite female comedian, Jeanne Robertson. I love her sense of humor and can definitely relate to some of her sketches. I hope you enjoy her as well.

I just couldn’t resist adding this as it’s about Nanaimo, B.C.

I think a great way to end is with a few unique concerts. This next video is of musicians playing instruments carved from ice collected from Arctic water.

Now let’s end the day with the coolest concert ever.

I hope you enjoyed your day.

Please send us your feedback. It will help us build a better program for YOU.

Stay safe and I hope you check back in next week - Wednesday, Dec. 8.
