Let’s get the day started by getting our bodies moving to this music from the 1960s. Only do what feels comfortable and make sure that you get some water after (or during) your workout.
Here is a new game that will get your brain cells firing. It is a little tricky so you may want to do it with a friend if you can. Wordle is a game where you are trying to find the correct five-letter word in six guesses. For your first guess, try to choose a five-letter word that has the most common letters. If the word that you choose has a correct letter in the correct place it will show up green (therefore you want to keep that letter in that place in your subsequent guesses). If the word you choose has a letter that shows up yellow then you know that letter is in the word but in the incorrect place, so you will want that letter in your subsequent guesses but in a different position. If your word has a letter in grey, that letter is not in the word at all and therefore you don’t want to use that letter again in any of your subsequent guesses. This has become a very popular game that requires some thought. Good luck and let us know if you enjoy it. You may need to try it several times to get the hang of it.
Here are some healthy dinner recipes for spring and summer that you may want to try:
I have been noticing the trees starting to blossom and I love it. I thought you might enjoy the Cherry Blossoms at Queen Elizabeth Park. If you love seeing these magnificent trees, I hope you have a chance to go for a drive to Vancouver and walk around Queen Elizabeth Park.
We have all heard that laughter is the best medicine. I found this video of the funniest animal auditions on America’s Got Talent:
I love sport and while I went to a school with an exceptional rugby team I liked it but wasn’t a fan. A couple of years ago, I happened to watch this World Rugby 7’s final on tv and was captivated by the speed of the game and the players' athleticism. The World Rugby 7s are coming to Vancouver on April 16 and 17.
Let’s end the day with this lovely performance of Schumann by the Philharmonie Sudwestfalen from 2018.
I hope that you had a good day.
Stay safe and I hope you check back in next week - Monday, April 11.
