Lions Gate Virtual Views - April 28, 2021

Welcome to Lions Gate Virtual Views. We are glad that you can escape with us on these weekly virtual journeys!

Please email Melanie with any feedback or suggestions for future program content. Enjoy!

Let’s start the day with some exercise. Here is a fun low-impact dance fitness workout. I hope you have fun. Don’t forget to pace yourself and drink water – don’t push yourself too hard!

I found this great video of brain exercises, which that we all should probably be doing at least three times per week:

You might consider some of these recipes for your evening meal tonight or sometime in the future:

Have you ever considered your age? Here is a great video explaining why the Japanese live so long. It includes how to make tofu, which I thought was very interesting. Do you like tofu? Would you get up at 4:30 am to make it if that helps you live longer?

Have you missed travelling? Have you ever been on a cruise ship or wanted to? While the last video dealt with healthy eating, this next one shows how 30,000 meals are prepared for cruise passengers. How do the chefs do it?

Since we just looked at a video about cruise ship food, I thought we could end the day with a few episodes of Love Boat. The first one stars our very own Michael J. Fox. Enjoy!

I hope you had a great day and that you have a lovely evening and week.

Please send us your feedback. It will help us build a better program for YOU.

See you next week - Wednesday, May 5.
