My Virtual Lions Gate BREAK - January 25, 2021

Let’s get started with a great song - Judy Garland from 1950 with Get Happy:

It’s time to get moving. This is one of my favourite seniors’ exercise videos and I just love Paul Eugene’s energy. Make sure you stay hydrated and don’t do anything that makes you uncomfortable.

I liked the quiz we did last week and I hope you did as well. Let’s try another topic, Geography, with this week’s brain exercise.

Before you head for lunch have a look at this wonderful 91-year-old woman share her easy and inexpensive (although not very nutritious) recipe:

I don’t know about you but I am somewhat intrigued by things that are extraordinary. I was recommended this video of abnormally large animals, although it is a little strange (and, I admit, a bit shocking), I thought I would share it with you:

Do you like singing? If so, here are the songs from Mary Poppins. There are songs from both the original and Mary Poppins Returns (which may not be as familiar to you), if you don’t know or like the song just skip to the end and the next one will begin. Enjoy and sing your heart out!

Do you like comedy? Dick Van Dyke is one of my favourites. Here is a bit of background about his life, and now I hope you enjoy an episode (or two) of the Dick Van Dyke show. Here’s one that aired in 1961:

I hope you had a great day and that you stay healthy and safe.

Please send me your feedback. It will help me build a better program for YOU.

See you next Monday, February 1.

Pam Havens and the My Lions Gate BREAK team.
