My Virtual Lions Gate BREAK
My Virtual Lions Gate BREAK - September 7, 2020
Let’s get started. My Lions Gate BREAK members are part of a special club. I think this is our theme song:
Please email me if you have another idea for a theme song for us.
Let’s start off by getting some exercise. I would like everyone to stand up and get ready to twist and move - (Let the YouTube video play if you would like to see more dance and exercise videos)
Today we have an outdoors theme, and to start, here are the ten most beautiful waterfalls in the world.
When you go for lunch, talk about the most beautiful place you have travelled to. I would love to hear your story. If you want to share your experience with me please email me.
Have you had some time outside today? If you live in British Columbia, you will know one of the jewels of our province. You may have visited and enjoyed the sites. You may even have hiked your way up the Grouse Grind. Let’s spend some time visiting Grouse Mountain, with a virtual walk up “the Grind.”
Since we are up the mountain let’s get some Canadian culture with the Lumberjack Show:
Are you (or were you) a thrill seeker? Look at this ziplining activity at Grouse Mountain:
This is a nice virtual tour of the summer activities at the top of Grouse:
From Grouse, let’s visit Mount Seymour. Enjoy this interview with Alex Douglas about living in one of the last cabins on Seymour. The educator and outdoorsman hopes to inspire new generations to explore and appreciate the mountain he calls home.
Let’s end the day with some amazing music. Here are the “Top Love Songs of Canadian Tenors.” Enjoy and have a lovely evening.
I hope you had a great day.
Please send me your comments, suggestions for future 'days' or let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
Please send me your feedback. It will help me build a better program for YOU.
Pam Havens and the My Lions Gate BREAK team.
