My Virtual Lions Gate BREAK
My Virtual Lions Gate BREAK - November 8, 2021
This is Remembrance Week when we commemorate those who have served our country and paid the ultimate price of their lives so that we can live in a democratic country. Here is a lovely rendition of the poem In Flanders Fields. While I am not going to focus the program today around the various wars that Canadian soldiers have served in, I do want to thank them (and their families) for their sacrifice. I am so very grateful to live in Canada and I believe that Canada would not be the country that it is without them.
Now let’s get some exercise. Here is my favourite YouTube exercise leader with a good seated exercise program to start the day.
This is a fun way to get thinking. Don’t worry if you don’t guess the answers from the pictures but I think you may figure them once you see them. I hope you enjoy it!
While almost all of the leaves are off the trees by now, here is one last glimpse of Vancouver’s fall colours:
If you like dogs, here is a great video of wonderful dog acts that will make you laugh.
How would you like to end your day? How about with the music of Yanni and his tribute concert in China:
I hope you enjoyed the day. Stay healthy and I hope you come back next week for more.
See you next week - Monday, Nov. 15.
