My Virtual Lions Gate BREAK - March 21, 2022

Let’s get the day started with this seated chair exercise. Make sure you only do what feels comfortable to you, and drink water after you exercise.

Now that you’ve gotten your body moving, it's time to get your brain cells firing. Here’s a fun trivia quiz. Don’t worry if you don’t know the answers, the fun is in playing.

Here is a fabulous video of vegetables that you can grow from kitchen scraps to create an ongoing harvest. Why don’t you try some of these growing techniques? I know that I’m going to.

Let’s get some ‘virtual’ time outside with this beautiful spring walk on Vancouver Island. Stand up and imagine you are on Vancouver Island and walk along (in place) while enjoying the amazing sounds of nature.

This next video makes me think of my parents and how they dance together. While they may not be this young now, they still (in their 80s) have some great moves.

And here is a bonus video, and a real inspiration to seniors who love to dance:

Let’s end the day with some good old-fashioned I Love Lucy humour. Here is a great episode where Lucy fakes illness.

I hope that you enjoyed your day.

Please send me your feedback. It will help me build a better program for YOU.

See you next week - Monday, March 28.
