My Virtual Lions Gate BREAK
My Virtual Lions Gate BREAK - July 20, 2020
Let’s start the day with some exercise. Here is Jen Dibnah with Chair Yoga at Parkgate Community Centre.
What about a walk and culture at the same time? Better yet, let’s also add some travel. Have you been to Rome? Did you visit the Colosseum? The Colosseum, also called Flavian Amphitheatre, is a giant amphitheatre built in Rome under the Flavian emperors. Construction of the Colosseum began sometime between 70 and 72 CE during the reign of Vespasian. It is located just east of the Palatine Hill, on the grounds of what was Nero's Golden House. Here is a walking tour that we can go and experience together:
If you enjoyed that and want more information about the Colosseum, click here for the facts.
Some people are cat lovers, and some are dog lovers (some prefer not to have pets at all or more exotic pets). Enjoy these entertaining clips of the antics of cats and dogs:
Here's a look back to bygone Vancouver - logging in Burrard Inlet taken in 1955, showing a logger dancing on the logs in the water.
I hope you have a great day. Please send me your comments, suggestions for future 'days' or let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
Please send me your feedback. It will help me build a better program for YOU.
