My Virtual Lions Gate BREAK
My Virtual Lions Gate BREAK - January 3, 2022
I hope that you had a happy holiday season. While 2021 undoubtedly had some ups and downs, I hope that 2022 brings you more opportunities to connect with family and friends.
You know what happens now; exercise to burn off some of those Christmas treats! Here is an easy exercise routine to some golden oldies:
Now it’s time to exercise those brain cells. Let’s see how much you know about the New Year:
Let’s have some time outside. Have you ever done the Polar Plunge on January 1? Here is a short video of the history of Vancouver Polar Plunge, one of the oldest in the world.
Let’s get this a bit closer to home with this video of the 2018 Penguin Plunge (aka Polar Plunge) in Deep Cove.
This is one more Polar Plunge that shows how this event can bring a community together with spirit and competitiveness. (My advice is NOT to try this without medical support on hand.)
They say that laughter is the best medicine. I was looking for a sitcom with a good New Year show and came across this episode of That Girl from 1968. A quiet night turns into a party.
Here is some Vintage New Year music for you to enjoy. I’m sure that many of you can sing along to some of these songs.
I feel a fireworks display would be a fun way to celebrate it being 2022. Sidney Australia put on a wonderful show. I hope you enjoy this and I really hope that you have a healthy and happy 2022.
I hope you enjoyed the day. Stay healthy and I hope you come back next week for more.
See you next week - Monday, Jan. 10.
