My Virtual Lions Gate BREAK - February 1, 2021

Instead of a song, let’s get started with a chuckle. If you like cats, this is how the first big snowfall looks from a cat’s perspective:

I think this is a good, easy and short chair exercise routine:

If you liked that one and want a bit more exercises, here’s a set to the song New York, New York:

There are many benefits of colouring exercises for seniors' cognitive and mental health. Click here to read more and to access downloadable and printable colouring pages. Here is a site to download other pictures to colour. If you don’t have access to a printer, perhaps you could ask someone to pick up a seniors' colouring book for you. Enjoy!

Over the last couple of weeks, between this program and Wednesday’s Lions Gate Virtual Views, I have posted videos of Seymour Mountain, Grouse Mountain and Whistler Mountain. Let’s go now to one more local winter playground, Cypress Mountain with a lovely young couple who go snowshoeing.

It looked a little chilly so now let’s warm up with some laughs (hopefully) with the Jack Benny Program. (If you like the first episode, just let it play and the next one will start.)

Celine Dion is one of my favourite Canadian singers. She performed a live show in Las Vegas from 2011 to 2019, and since I never had a chance to see her show I thought I would share it with you here:

Below is a final video for anyone who has trouble sleeping. Do you have trouble sleeping? Does your mind race when you go to bed? If so, you might want to try this video before you go to bed tonight:

I hope you had a great day and that you stay healthy and safe.

Please send me your feedback. It will help me build a better program for YOU.

See you next Monday, February 8.

Pam Havens and the My Lions Gate BREAK team.
