My Virtual Lions Gate BREAK - August 10, 2020

Let’s get started. My Lions Gate BREAK members are part of a special club. I think this is our theme song.

Please email me if you have another idea for a theme song for us.

Nature is wonderful and roses are incredibly varied and beautiful. Here are beautiful roses in every colour.

Have you ever wondered what the colour of each rose means?

Lunchtime topic of conversation: “Do you like to garden? Do you plant flowers or vegetables?” What is your favourite thing to put in your garden?

Have you had some time outside today? If you live in North Vancouver, perhaps a walk through the woods looking at the beauty of our nature. If you can walk on the beach and find a beautiful stone or seashell, pick it up and enjoy. Come back though and enjoy the rest of the day.

Ok, Let’s get some exercise now. Here is Andy from Parkgate Community Services Society with Keep Well, an hour-long exercise class.

The most beautiful gardens - here is B.C.’s own Butchart Gardens in Brentwood Bay, located near Victoria on Vancouver Island.

Here is a video about The Most Beautiful Gardens in the World. There is so much beauty in the world and I am happy to share it with you.

This is a moving and fabulous way to end the day. Here is André Rieu and Amira Willighagen (Luciano Pavoratti’s granddaughter) singing O Mio Babbino Caro, from the DVD Love in Venice.

And, from 2018, Amira Willighagen singing a beautiful rendition of Amazing Grace.

If you still haven’t seen enough, I recommend the moving documentary The Making of a Soprano:

I hope you had a great day.

Please send me your comments, suggestions for future 'days' or let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Please send me your feedback. It will help me build a better program for YOU.
