Welcome to the Cap Services Web Site

Cap Services is a non-profit organization providing services for residents of the District and the City of North Vancouver. It was founded in 1970 as a grassroots response to the needs of the people living in the Capilano area.

Today Cap Services continues to serve a large number of North Vancouver residents through targeted youth and seniors programs and the Red Cross Health Equipment Loan Program. Cap Services is also a founding member of the Lower Capilano Partnership Committee, which provides a wide variety of services to residents in the Lower Capilano area.

The success of all of our programs is heavily reliant on municipal funding, charitable donations and the hands-on involvement of hundreds of volunteers, helping to make the North Shore a better community. With a staff of 9 and a budget of $350,000, the organization relies heavily on the support of its 250 volunteers, who last year contributed well over 17,000 hours of service.

All services are available at no charge or a nominal fee.
